LAB2B / TOGC2 Micro ozone generators
LAB2B / TOGC2 – Mini Ozone Generators for Precise Applications
The LAB2B and TOGC2 mini ozone generators are compact, high-performance devices for producing ozone (O₃) in small water volumes or laboratory applications. They offer precise dosing and reliable disinfection of microorganisms, viruses, fungi, and organic contaminants. These mini ozone generators are ideal when ozone needs to be applied accurately, efficiently, and safely, e.g., in laboratories, research projects, or small process systems.
Typical Applications:
- Laboratory and research applications
- Small process water systems
- Small-scale drinking water treatment
- Targeted air or water disinfection
- Pilot or test installations

The LAB2B is a corona discharge type ozone generator with variable ozone output up to 10 g/h ozone in oxygen and 4 g/h ozone using dried air. The air-cooled ozone generator is enclosed in an compact desktop housing for bench use. ApplicationsResearch and development Education Laboratories Technology and how it worksThe Ozone generator LAB2B is built in a small desktop housing with air cooler, especially suited for laboratory application. The instrument consists of operation displays, flow meter for the feedgas and a controller for the variable power adjustment. The ozone output is adjustable via a rotary knob at the font side of the housing. The LAB2B can be operated with oxygen or dried air.Ozone is produced when oxygen containing gas is passed over the ceramic dielectric of an ozone generating module. The module is powered by a high voltage/high frequency power board. The ceramic dielectric is housed within a finned heat sink block which is air cooled by fan assisted atmospheric air. Yes Can it be operated using an external oxygen source (cylinder) without issues? Yes What are the requirements regarding pressure and gas purity? The maximum permissible pressure is 0.7 bar. What is the specific control range for ozone output (e.g., in % or g/h)? How fine is the control (continuous/stepless or fixed increments)? Ozone output can be manually adjusted via a rotary control within the 10–100% range. The control does not have fixed increments within this range. What are the intended typical gas flow rates for operation (L/min)? To ensure stable operation, an operating gas flow rate of 2–5 liters of oxygen per minute must be maintained. Is stable operation possible at low flow rates (<1 L/min)? No What materials are used for the gas lines? All materials used must be ozone-resistant. PTFE, PVDF, or Viton are suitable choices. Are there recommendations for typical laboratory applications or small fixed-bed reactors? We do not have a standard document for this. As a general rule, any residual ozone remaining in the reactor must not be vented directly into the room. Operation inside a laboratory fume hood is recommended; alternatives include a technical ventilation system with a sufficiently high air exchange rate or the integration of a residual ozone destruct unit. An ozone monitor is recommended for regular operation.
The Ozone generator TOGC2 is based on the principle of „Silent Electrical Discharge” using oxygen or air as feedgas. The ozone production can be adjusted for a variable output: max. 10 g/h from oxygen and 4 g/h from dried air. The instrument is concepted for small industrial ozone application and pilot plants.
